Puerto del Carmen

Climb aboard the "Biosfera Jet" fast boat and sail along the west coast of Lanzarote from Puerto del Carmen marina. Get a quick briefing about the trip and safety issues before you set off. You’ll be picked up at your resort and transferred to the port in Puerto del Carmen to board the Lineas Romero sailing catamaran. Once you’ve been welcomed on board you’ll be served a refreshing Mojito cocktail and a tapa and receive a short introduction by the experienced crew. On this 4-hour excursion, the I Love Papagayo catamaran will sail southwest to the southern tip of Lanzarote. Your destination is the Costa de Papagayo, where the beaches are golden and the natural environment is still untouched. The captain will drop anchor and you’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy the sun and the many water sports on offer. Lunch will be served on board before you head back to port. The bus will be waiting to take you back to your resort.

Commence your sunset tour of Lanzarote at 18:00 in the summer season (April - October) or 16:00 during the winter season (November - March) with pick-up from your accommodation. Hop aboard an air-conditioned bus and travel to the Marina Puerto del Carmen in the Old Town harbor.  Climb aboard the modern "Biosfera Jet" boat get panoramic views of the coast as you go in search of dolphins frolicking in the water. Look for whales and other marine mammals in their natural habitat, and get detailed information about the cetaceans from the expert crew. Benefit from a trip with a high percentage of success spotting the wildlife. Then, watch the sunset over the ocean as you sip Champagne and nibble on complimentary pastries. Sail back to Puerto del Carmen, where a shuttle bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Start with pickup from your hotel and be taken to the meeting point. Get set up with your wetsuit and a life jacket. Make your way to the boat and set sail from the harbour. Receive a safety briefing and guidelines on how to use your jet ski safely, before letting the fun begin. Follow your expert guide out onto the open water. Enjoy the fantastic views of the coastline of Lanzarote. Admire the beautiful beaches and rugged volcanic rock formations as you ride across the waves. Depending on your time chosen, see areas such as Playa Quemada, Punta Grande, and Las Coloradas. Then make your way back to port, change out of your wetsuit, and be taken back to your hotel.

Learn from a professional diver and explore the magical world below the water. You will meet at the dive centre where a diving professional will teach you everything you need to know and, under their guidance, learn the skills you need to enjoy this first experience underwater. There is a maximum of two divers per instructor. After an instructional session, head to the dive site, assemble the scuba equipment and perform safety checks. Then, at your own pace, enter the water to explore the underwater world of Lanzarote. For the first dive, you'll descend to a maximum depth of just 6 metres to gain confidence with 30 to 40 minutes in the water. When you have completed your dive, you can take a break and have a snack to prepare yourself to take your second dive. This time dive to a maximum of 12 metres with plenty of time to see sea life. At the end of the day take home a diving diploma as proof of your new skills!

Meet at the dive center where an SSI Dive Professional will teach you everything you need to know and, under their guidance, learn the skills you need to enjoy this first experience underwater, with a maximum of 2 divers per instructor. Head to the dive site, assemble the scuba equipment and perform safety checks. Then, at your own pace, enter the water to explore the underwater world of Lanzarote. Descend to a maximum depth of just 6 meters on your 2 to 3-hour tour, with 30 to 40 minutes in the water. When you have completed your dive, pick up your diploma!

After being collected from your accommodation, you will be taken you to the exclusive marina Puerto Calero where you will receive a welcome glass of Champagne. You will soon leave the port, sailing east down the picturesque coastline of Puerto Del Carmen for an hour. As you cruise, you can be on the lookout for local wildlife including dolphins, whales, and turtles. You will then head west back to the anchor point of "El Poril", where you will drop anchor for 1.5 hours for water activities. Whilst on board you will be free to enjoy the "all inclusive" free-flowing beer, sangria, and soft drinks. The water activities include snorkeling and swimming, with jet skis and inflatable donut rides available at an extra cost. Once full of delicious freshly cooked paella, freshly prepared tortillas, and soft freshly baked bread and butter, you will head back to the marina where you will be guided to your bus to return to your accommodation.
