1. Ravello: 2-Hour Private Walking Tour

Ravello is one of the most enchanting places of the Amalfi Coast and the dream destination of intellectuals, artists and musicians of the 19th century. It is here that Wagner composed the second act of the Parsifal. The medieval town is set 365 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea. You'll visit the beautiful villas located in the town such as Villa Rufolo, where every year the international Ravello Festival takes place and Villa Cimbrone, which is famous for its scenic belvedere named the Terrace of Infinity. it is here that in 1938 Greta Garbo and the composer Leopold Stokowski spent wonderful days of love. The Nobel prize winner for literature Andre Gide has said, "Ravello is closer to the sky than it is far from the shore." In Ravello, you can enjoy the most enchanting views of the Amalfi Coast, as you are on a suspended terrace between the cobalt blue Tyrrhenian Sea and the Lattari Mountains. You’ll visit the Cathedral of Saint Pantaleone and, through the splendid access tower, you’ll enter into Villa Rufolo, a wonderful medieval site adorned with enchanting gardens.

What to expect Your day will begin at your chosen time from your accommodation with one of our immaculate limos. This is for sure one of our most popular requests; Positano, Amalfi and Ravello are simply spectacular due to the many enchanting landscapes you will encounter on the way. During this tour you can really relax and enjoy the views, do some really cool shopping and take in the real essence of “la dolce vita”. Positano can be considered the pearl of the Amalfi coast; it is petit and colourful with plenty of charm. Day and at night it is magical, by walking along the lanes and the stairways it is filled with local shops where you can buy souvenirs and handmade items such as sandals, clothes, and ceramics. The Amalfi Coast got its name from Amalfi, and was declared protected by UNESCO because of its mere beauty. Amalfi is also rich in history and traditions: it is one of the four maritime republics, in fact every 4 years it hosts a sea race with Pisa, Genoa and Venice and in the past it boasted the production of the famous Amalfi paper. It is now possible to visit the paper museum itself. Ravello is located on the beautiful Amalfi coast, but don’t be fooled as it’s positioned at 315 meters above the sea level. The most popular places are Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone in addition to the Cathedral of Ravello.

Positano - The busy central Piazza dei Mulini is connected to a narrow downhill path and some occasional flights of steps that lead to the seafront. At Piazza dei Mulini, you must leave the car as all streets leading to the waterfront are for pedestrians only. The only way to reach restaurants situated on the beach, that serve fresh daily fish, is to go on foot. These streets also lead to the cathedral, ceramic shops, fruit vendors, and apparel retail shops. Positano is alive at night as well, with exotic nightclubs such as Music on the Rocks and various bars and cafes that remain open until the sun comes up. There is a short walk uphill to return to the car, ascending the mountain, returning to the main coastal road that leads to Amalfi. Amalfi - This coastal town is situated on a seafront port and a long stretch of pebbled beach. In front of the port of Amalfi is the only bus station along the coast. Behind this square lies the main shopping street of Amalfi, that ends at the furthest and highest point of the town. Along the pedestrian street are various bars and cafes, not to mention the many shops selling limoncello, casual apparel, swimwear, gifts, basic groceries, and of course, ceramics. However, if one would like to see more than just shops, Amalfi has some interesting sights to explore such as: a spectacular cathedral along the coast, and a paper factory and its museum. There are also some highly recommended local restaurants, which your driver can suggest. Ravello - The road to Ravello is a slow uphill drive where you will pass several wineries and olive factories. Ravello is a rural village unspoiled by tourism, perched on top of a mountain cliff situated above Amalfi and Minori. It is famous for its breathtaking views and ancient monuments best exemplified by the gardens of Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo. In high season, these gardens are rich in sweet scents of blooming flowers and the perfume of lemons. There are also many classical concerts held in the gardens of Villa Rufolo, located just off the main square of Ravello; tickets cost approximately 20 Euros each. Apart from the main cathedral and the history museum constructed in the basement of the cathedral, there are many other churches to visit near the town square. Along the narrow arches of Via Roma, there are a few small boutiques, and some traditional local restaurants with unique and exceptional cuisine.

It was a wonderful tour with Francesco. Booking a day tour is highly recommended especially if you have limited time in Italy and you want to see the best spots. Very convenient and comfortable with the private car in touring around Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. You would be touring for an hour for each town, excluding some random stops for picture taking and the lunch along the way. The restaurant for lunch in Praiano has nice sea view with delicious seafoods and Italian food. The driver, Francesco, also shares some facts and trivias about Italy. He also gave recomendations where to go when you start to do your own tour. Definitely a memorable one.

An excellent day, as described. Our driver, Rosario, was very professional and attentive. He was early for the morning pick-up. The car was perfectly clean and fresh every time we returned from our free time. The four cities are very interesting. It was a very beautiful day. I recommend this excursion.

Beautiful experience, very nice and knowledgeable driver. The only flaw was determined by the organization of the group as some people had to return to take the cruise ship before the scheduled 8 hours of tour

Wonderful excursion! The guide gave us time to visit each place very quietly.

Guide was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
