1. London: GoBoat Rental for Regent's Canal & Paddington Basin

GoBoat is the eco-friendly boating company on a mission to get more people on the UK’s waterways. Enjoy a unique, sustainable and exciting experience with friends and family and explore your city from the water. Each GoBoat seats up to eight passengers and the experience is both dog and child friendly with life jackets and buoyancy aids provided. No prior boating knowledge is necessary, with staff giving a full driving and safety tutorial before setting sail. Enjoy a leisurely cruise, with the boats travelling at speeds of up to 4mph, and take in some of Birmingham’s most impressive views from a new perspective. GoBoats are powered by an almost silent electric motor, an eco-friendlier alternative to petrol engines. The deck and table are made from sustainably sourced forestry wood and the foam kernel is made of 80 per cent recycled PET - the equivalent of 600 plastic bottles. Each boat has seating around a central table creating a sociable space ideal for groups of friends, colleagues and families alike. It makes a great date activity too - passengers are encouraged to bring their own picnic and GoBoat will provide cosy blankets if the weather turns chilly or umbrellas and ponchos if it rains. The self-drive boating experience offers guests one-, two- or three-hour trips on electric picnic boats seven days a week, with booking starting from 9.30am every day.
