Full description

Drive through the beautiful landscape of the southern part of Iceland and stop at all the main sights, and even some extra stops on this full day tour of the Golden Circle. On the morning of your tour, you will make several stops. On your way from Reykjavík to you will drive through the beautiful lava fields and geothermal area before making your first stop in the town of Hveragerði to see an earthquake exhibition. Your next stop will be at the picturesque Faxi waterfall before heading to the most popular waterfall in Iceland, Gullfoss. Enjoy lunch at the Geysir geothermal area, where you can also take some time to walk around and see the hot spring erupt. The last stop of your day will be at the Þingvellir National Park. Both a UNESCO heritage site and the site of the tv show Game of Thrones, the park is full of amazing views. You will then head back to Reykjavík to end your day tour of the Golden Circle.

Bjorn the guide was informative, interesting and passionate about his Country which Impressed me. Most of all he made my disabled 82 year old mother in a wheelchair tick off another item on her bucket list by being very compassionate and helpful , couldn’t recommend him enough Thankyou

Being part of a smaller party made the tour more personnel which was made all the better due to the guide/driver, Bodi, who showed a great respect for his country and was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites we visited but also gave us a feel about the general day to day on how Iceland is run especially following on from it's recent history. I would highly recommend Your Day Tours if you are looking to do the Golden Circle Tour.
