Full description
Depart Reykjavik for a full-day coach tour of Iceland’s Golden Circle and experience the geothermal wilderness up-close. Depart the city center and drive to the Geysir Geothermal Area to see springs of spouting spring water and the most active geyser Iceland at Strokkur. Continue to Gullfoss to stand next to an amazing waterfall. Watch the vast quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge. Encounter a cross-section of Iceland's natural wonders and geological phenomena at Thingvellir National Park. Then, go to the natural steam baths at Fontana. Originally built in the 1920s, Fontana was little more than a shack with 2 compartments built above the hot spring that bubbles and gurgles below ground. Today, a modern complex invites you to relax in various hot tubs and steam baths that are naturally heated by hot springs. Enjoy some traditional rye bread baked in hot springs before the return transfer to Reykjavik.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. our driver Dylan was awesome he knew lots of information about Iceland. The tectonic plates visit was awesome. The next stop was the geysirs this is epic. loads of photo opportunities. The waterfalls are absolutely stunning. Then we stopped off at the fontana spa to try some rye bread it was delicious then we went in the heated spas absolutely amazing. Then on the way home we stopped off to stroke and feed some Icelandic horses. What an amazing day.

The tour was good, though the weather was absolutely atrocious and at times dangerous with the heavy winds. I liked the stops of the Golden Circle, but the Fontana hot spring was a bit of a disappointment. Apart from the nice lake view, it’s pretty much a swimming pool like every other public one in Reykjavik city. Also, they made us wait for the bread showing/tasting, taking away from the time in the bath. I regret not choosing a more unique combination like one with Kerid crater and the Secret Lagoon.

Amazing nature experiences

I saw so much compared to the price I paid. The sightseeing stops were well- organized. The pick-up from the hotel was a big plus. The only minus was the mess with the tickets in BSÍ: everyone had to print their ticket from in the BSÍ and it took too much time.
