I booked our horseback riding experience a day too early and I was able to change it at midnight 2 nights prior ( thank you Carl!) and it was effortless. 2 days later my partner and our 2 kids were equipped with rain gear (thank god because it was pouring). The staff like everyone in Iceland was kind, sweet and extremely attentive. The horses were up for a ride in the cold rain and I wasn’t sure we really were! The ride was relaxing and beautiful- even in the rain. At the end you are offered a hot drink and kind smile. All the staff was incredibly kind. I highly recommend this experience. Ask for February’ the horse! A beautiful animal.

The trip was very well organized including the transfer. The facility is absolutely stunning. The girls on site are there with love for the horses and care for the group. It was a pity that only English was spoken on the ride. We had booked a German excursion, but unfortunately that was not implemented.

It was great - from the transfer to the horseback ride. We were (although the description only lists hotels) collected from the cruise terminal & driven straight to the farm. There we were first instructed and asked about our experiences. The group was split from the first node according to experience (beginners/experienced) & really everyone got their money's worth :-) (experienced) were often trolled and during a break photos were taken with their own mobile phones & questions answered. Finally, coffee and tea were available to warm up.
