Good excursion, it is a medium difficulty hike where you cross the old lava flows from previous years. Be careful there are a lot of rocks, bring good hiking shoes (praiseable at BSI terminal). After 2 hours of walking we arrive at the erupting volcano, it is worth the detour! The guides were friendly (the Dreams team as they are called), they guided us well. Special mention to our Polish driver on the return, who took us to the excursion office to collect our belongings and brought us back to the Reykjavik terminal station, which was not planned.

Wonderful experience, the guide Alvaro was truly exemplary in handling even an unexpected event (a Canadian lady from the group got hurt on the way back). It is a trek, half easy with the beaten path, the rest of the way between protruding and slimy rocks. I strongly advise against it for anyone who is not willing to do about 15km round trip with strong inclinations and freezing wind that makes the return to the parking lot really heavy at night.

Good evening, I forgot a walking stick in the front row of the minibus returning from the excursion. Can you tell me where I can pick it up? Thanks in advance. The excursion was fabulous and the staff and service at GYG excellent! Sincerely, Bruno Menicucci Sent from my iPhone
