Full description
If you are a nature lover, then this tour is made for you. It visits all the great attractions of the south coast, glaciers, the Black Beach of Reynisfjara, Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano and of course, several of the beautiful waterfalls. The highlight of the tour is a Blue Ice Glacier Hike on Solheimajokull glacier which takes around 1.5-hours. Start by visiting the two great waterfalls of the south coast, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, as well as visiting lesser-known, more secret waterfalls Glufrabui, Kvernufoss and Irafoss. As you continue, drive under the great Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano and the Mýrdalsjökull glacier cap, where you will take a glacier hike for about 1.5-hours and have a closer look at the Solheimajokull glacier. A bit further will be the great Reynisfjara Black Beach, where the sea crashes upon black sands and hexagonal basalt columns and rock stacks tower over the surroundings. In one day, see two volcanoes and discover five amazing waterfalls, visit Reynisfjara and get up-close and personal with the sleeping ice giants that are glaciers during the glacier hike. A perfect tour for the curious tourist and the inquisitive nature lover. This tour is available all year. Reserve it now to secure your spot on this South Iceland Tour. We had an amazing time on the Wild South tour, our guide was great, very knowledgeable and funny. The waterfalls were amazing and the glacier was one of the highlights of my trip. It was slightly more of a climb in some areas, we had crampons that fit on the bottom of our shoes, helmets and ice picks to hike the glacier, the view was amazing! I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

Our guide was phenomenal. We didn't do the glacier hike so while others were hiking he showed us some amazing locations where not many people go. And he took us to a place we could photograph puffins up close. He listened to what we wanted to do and took us to those places. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip.

Nice travel was the name of the actual tour company and our guide’s name was Christina. She was a great driver, very knowledgeable, funny, took awesome pictures for us and all around the best travel guide we had. She even took us to an extra waterfall location that wasn’t included on the itinerary and it was a gem. If you don’t have a car and are short on time, this tour is a must as you will see 3 to 4 waterfalls, hike the glacier and make a stop at a black sand beach.
