We had an amazing experience on this small group tour with Roberto, who shared a lot of fascinating history about Rome and the Colosseum. We were able to skip the line and access the underground, arena floor, and the second floor. The tickets also gave us access to the Roman Forum and Palantine Hill, but the guided tour is exclusively for the Colosseum. We only had 9 people in our group, which was nice, and they provided each of us with an ear piece so we can hear what our tour guide was saying even if we weren't right next to him. The only thing to be aware of is, if you book the underground tour, there may be a chance that they move the time of your tour because that's what happened to us - they changed it from 12pm to 1:15pm. Apparently, the Colosseum security may change the time of access and I guess the tour guide cannot do anything about it. Luckily, we were able to make it and had a wonderful experience.

Fantastic tour where you can see the Colosseum from an angle that not many people experience. Impressive to learn about the history of this monument and the many different phases in its live. Impressive to see how it is build and the learn about different mechanisms the Roman created to transport the animals from underground to the arena. Guide was very experienced and passionately.
