Palace is definitely something I’d recommend to others. Beautiful building & the interior is amazing. Would recommend pre booking tickets - when we went, we walked straight in, no queuing, whilst the queue for non ticket holders was quite long & slow moving. You can take photos of the outside & of the staircase as you go in but not of the actual rooms which was quite frustrating - the Guides are pretty hot on this too so beware you don’t get caught! Ticket price on here seemed reasonable for the non guided tour. Took us roughly an hour to walk around.

the Royal Palace is an obligatory stop to be included in a trip, even if short, to Madrid. Buying the ticket with priority entrance is also recommended because otherwise you would have to queue very long, taking time away from other destinations. The palace is enchanting and it is also worth listening to the audio guide that accompanies the visitor with the necessary and necessary explanations. Excellent organization

Entrance into the palace was quick. The artillery and weapons exhibit was very impressive and worth seeing. Tour of the palace was done at your own pace which was a nice touch. Wondered why photos weren’t allowed during the main tour but wasn’t a deal breaker. Gorgeous rooms that are worth seeing.
