Could have allowed more time. As a disabled person it takes longer to get changed for getting in and out of lagoon. Therefore I didn’t have time to get anything to eat in the cafe. It would have been helpful if disabled people are advised bring a packed lunch due to this and also an exceptionally long queue in the cafe. Apart from being hungry on the way back, I enjoy my experience.
A good day out and would recommend the secret lagoon. I was not sure about this...the family wanted to do a lagoon but I really did not fancy the dash from the changing room in sub zero temperatures to get in the lagoon. Yes it was bracing but was only about 20 steps and the reward of the hot lagoon was worth it....dont forget to pick up a sausage or noodle to float around on.
This Tour was really great. The secret lagoon in the morning was really relaxing and our guide has told us very much about the country over the whole day. Of course the golden circle itself was great to see also!
Maybe not as flash as the Blue Lagoon but better value, well organised, and in a great location. The journey down from Reykjavik to South Iceland was as good as the final destination. Incredible scenery.
It was just right, not too short and not too long. The Secret Lagoon wasn’t crowded and the geyser, right there, was fun to watch every 7-10 minutes or so.
