1. Indein Pagoda and Inle Lake Sightseeing
Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Inle Lake or Phaung Daw Side jetty. Then visit the Inle Lake and Indein Village by local small boat. See the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most venerable pagoda in Southern Shan State. Admire the Floating Gardens and Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, containing 16th and 17th century lacquer Buddha Images, silk and lotus weaving factory, and silver souvenir making workshop. Then visit to Indein village and Shwe Indein Pagodas, a group of Buddhist pagodas in the village of Indein, near Ywama and Inlay Lake in Shan State. Learn about the holy roles these Buddhists play.
