Your tour will begin as your guide picks you up from your hotel in either Inle Lake or the Phaung Daw Side jetty. From here you will take a boat trip for an excursion on Inle Lake, which is 22 kilometers long and 11 kilometers wide. The lake itself is famous for its unique one-leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local method of fishing, and village life. You will continue your tour by visiting the Phaung Daw Oo pagoda, which houses five sacred Buddha images which are almost shapeless due to the quantity of gold leaf which has been applied by worshipers. In the afternoon, you will proceed to the silk-weaving village of In Paw Khon, where you will visit Nga Phe Chaung (one of the oldest monasteries around Inle Lake), complete with its jumping cats. Following that, you will be returned to your hotel where you can enjoy the sunset from the middle of the lake from a floating boat.

2. Indein Pagoda and Inle Lake Sightseeing

Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Inle Lake or Phaung Daw Side jetty. Then visit the Inle Lake and Indein Village by local small boat. See the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most venerable pagoda in Southern Shan State. Admire the Floating Gardens and Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, containing 16th and 17th century lacquer Buddha Images, silk and lotus weaving factory, and silver souvenir making workshop. Then visit to Indein village and Shwe Indein Pagodas, a group of Buddhist pagodas in the village of Indein, near Ywama and Inlay Lake in Shan State. Learn about the holy roles these Buddhists play. Immerse yourself in the culture, while admiring the wholesome way of live. After that, you will be taken to your hotel, so you can enjoy the sunset from the middle of the lake on a boat.

3. From Nyaungshwe Area: Kakku Pagoda Day-Trip with Short Trek

You will be picked up from your Inle Lake or Nyaung Shwe accommodation and begin the journey to Kakku by car. Stop off along the way to visit a local market, before continuing to Narbaung. From Narbaung, walk for about 1 hour to Htampaya as you admire the stunning scenery. Pass through several farms and visit an ancient cave. At the end of this short trek, a car will be waiting to proceed to Kakku. Stop to enter the ancient Phyu Nge monastery before Kakku, then enjoy lunch at the Hlaing Koon Restaurant. After lunch, discover the beautiful Kakku Pagoda Complex. Explore the ancient Buddhist stupas aligned in parallel rows, covering a distance of almost one square kilometer.  In the evening, depart from Kakku and return to your accommodation in the Nyaungshwe or Inle Lake area.
