The ride was just awesome. We had a driver that was very motivated and had fun himself. I also did the 1 hour Go Orange trip, but this one is much nicer. I like that you get to see the two different rivers, but not too much so that it would be boring after a while. If you have to decide between the different offers on riding a jet boat in Queenstown go for this one!
Was definitely fun, but be prepared, the first 10-12 minutes are very harsh on your back as you go over many, many bumpy waves head-on, in order to get to the calm part of the waters. same with your return. Ouch...! Was still fun, but a bit painful :)
We had a great time! We were lucky enough to be in the front seat, yet really did not get too wet--just some spray, but no waves crashing over us. There are several jet boat tours, so we just had to pay attention to which meeting place to use.
Experience was a big fun! Ethan, our driver, told us all about the area we were riding in and made sure we didn't miss a bit in terms of photos and information.
Absolutely awesome experience - great way to see Queenstown by water with a few thrills on the way. Professional company with a very talented driver. A++++++
