Excellent trip with our host Trim. Met at Vik inside the Lava museum and then driven 45 minutes to the site with a couple of stops on the way. The scenery is fantastic. The walk to the cave was medium difficulty - spikes for shoes provided. The cave itself was a unique experience and well worth it. Our host Trim was very knowledgeable and shared a few stories on route. Definitely would recommend.

This was the highlight of our trip! Our guide was knowledgeable, made us feel safe the entire time, and went with the flow with some of the hiccups with the other people in our group. We felt like we had our own personalized guide on the glacier. We cannot stop talking about our time and have told everyone this was the must do activity when in Iceland.

Stephen was amazing! Very knowledgeable and clearly loved his job! He was very attentive and aware of the groups fitness levels so made sure we got the maximum amount of time and distance on the ice! Very clear instructions for meeting point (but yellow bus) and very short walk before heading up the ever changing route to walk across the ice.

The bumpy jeep ride was the most strenuous part of this adventure. Not a very long drive and made it feel like a true adventure. The guide was super knowledgeable and the hiking portion was a breeze. Absolutely stunning views inside and outside the ice cave. On a summer day, I would say the waterproof pants may be optional.

This hike was a lot of fun, and not too hard. We got to spend around an hour and a half on the glacier, and our guide, Valerio, was super nice and interactive with our group. We had some breathtaking views and I absolutely recommend it.
