Hi in Moscow I got a card to go around in saint Petersburg apart from the blunder on the part of Getyourguide cancellation of my pass the pass was ok. Unfortunately the new one I had to paid was in a form of a booklet in which you had to tear sections in order to use. That was very inconvenient. Also instead of looking for the place of collection you should have an office in the airport. The time for collection was also bad, 11 am is very late.

We had a great day, saw unbelievable places!!! We booked 2 guides because we had a mixed language groupe. We just choosed that way to see the city because they offered us Portuguese and German as guides. The comunication with the company was very good. We booked in advance over 6 months. Got the confirmation about the guides, pick up and visum for 13 people. Unfornatuanly one day before, while we were in the cruise, we got the information that they couldn't offer a potuguese speaker guide and that they never could do that, this language were never available. 6 months longer... they did not informed us. I had to translate To Portuguese, what was tyring and not that enjoyable. But the only way. We had 4 eldery people in the group, so we got to late for the last atraction and could not get in. Wathever, not the foult of the guides for the false information about the language... the girls were brilliant. They did a very good job! Explained very well and were very friendly and patient.

Lunches were excellent and in unusual restaurants rather than the usual mass cratering of most tours.

  • St. Petersburg: Illuminations Night City Tour

    9. St. Petersburg: Illuminations Night City Tour

This excursion combines a sightseeing drive to those landmarks of the city which become more fascinating as the night progresses. You will encounter many of the gorgeous palaces and squares of Saint-Petersburg at night. In peak summertime you have the opportunity to enjoy the romantics of the "white nights", observing the opening of the numerous drawbridges. During white nights, when a faint twilight takes the place of night darkness, the streets, squares, and embankments acquire a unique charm. Though the period of white nights is short and comes to an end in July, it doesn't mean that the charm of St. Petersburg's night disappears. This water-dominated city still offers its guests many opportunities to embrace and experience its beauty.

Our driver is so accommodating and helpful,as my partner was too cold to get out of the car, he was trying to turn the car to help her Get a better view the scenery.

Our guide, Olga, was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and knew just how to get us into all the places we booked with ease. There were only seven of us on our excursion so we were able to interact with her and get all questions answered. Of all our excursions, this St Petersburg was the best!

What people are saying about St. Petersburg

This was my birthday treat! Our tour guide, Helena (I think) chatted with us before we set off and worked out a route to fill in the bits we'd not seen, as we'd spent 3 days sightseeing already. She was very knowledgeable and we still managed to learn new things about St. Petersburg. We were very lucky in that it had actually snowed the day before the tour, so Yelagin park looked beautiful under a layer of snow, although there was not enough snow for a sleigh ride (carriage ride instead). We had chance to warm up with a warm drink in a souvenir shop after the carriage ride, which was very cold, despite wearing thermals. The vodka museum was out last stop, with an interesting tour about the history of vodka in Russia , followed by a tasting. Special thanks to the driver, who was the best (and safest!) we'd had during our stay.

In spite of the lack of snow (and pouring rain fro most of the day) we had a fantastic excursion with our guide (Victoria) who was very knowledgable and professional but told everything in the sort of way that made the trip feel like we were going out in town with a friend. Our driver was excellent with good English and a great sense of humour which we appreciated. A less experienced team could have been phased about how to fill the time but it was never a problem and we would recommend this excursion.

Our driver is so accommodating and helpful,as my partner was too cold to get out of the car, he was trying to turn the car to help her Get a better view the scenery.
