Best museum in Amsterdam. In a large impressive building, well laid out, visually arresting exhibits invite guests to think about culture. Multi media exhibits provided full immersion into history, economics and culture. One of the problems I have when visiting other museums is the lack of acknowledgement of representation of almost exclusively white, powerful men while also ignoring how these artworks came into possession of the museum. Tropenmuseum rectified that honestly. Lastly, the cafe was a treat.

Terrific exhibition. Well worth small effort and safe. Some areas underlit for ideal viewing. (Spend the 2 euro in the dark winter.)

Nice collection but without explanation

The collection is beautiful although very selective but there is no indication so we do not understand what we see. Pity.

the museum is very large, it works until 17 hours, at least 2-3 hours need to be spent to see everything

It's really nice I would go with enough time to spend the whole day there.
