Full description
Go on a fun, Venetian style pub crawl of Venice, and discover traditional bars frequented by locals. Meet like minded travelers on a sociable tour that aims to show you how Venetians enjoy life. Meet in front of the Ca Rezzonico Museum at 5:30 PM, where you will be met by your guide. Then, meander through a labyrinth of small alleyways and campi (city squares) to visit 4 local bars known as ”bacari” in the Venetian dialect. Upon arrival at each bar, you will be offered an ombra (a glass of local wine). At the final bar you will have the chance to try the very popular Venetian, orange-colored cocktail known as “spritz,” usually served with an olive or two. You will also taste the typical venetian cicchetti (tapas) in each bacaro. Experience a great way of seeing the city as the locals see it, and chat to new friends. Great for singles, couples, or small groups, you never know who you might meet and who is behind the mask…

Great night out. Highly recommend

Was great to see some parts of Venice we wouldn't normally have found. Our guide was great and we learned some fantastic things about Venice. Great group of people we met as well.

Unfortunately disappointing

I've already booked some trips here. So far everything has always been great, unfortunately it wasn't at all. The tour guide took us from pub to pub and then sat down at the bar (far away from us guests). So his role and function was neither clear nor necessary. The bars themselves were nice, unfortunately we had to talk to the waiters to find out more about them and the surrounding area. When asked, the tour guide gave why the place was so hot, the answers, because the church was so hot ... There was Turkish wine (only available when asked by the waiter). There were always little things to eat. The tour guide then took the rest that we couldn't manage to eat at the bar in peace. When walking, no attention was paid to whether everyone followed (in costume - so no race possible). We were very sad in the end. I could imagine that the tour with other guides we know from other tours would have huge potential!
