The Big Smoke in a Whiff! 5-Hour Bike Tour
- Small group
- Duration: 5 hours
I had a great experience on this night bus tour. The tour is an excellent way to see London when you first arrive. Following a long flight and while battling the rigours of jetlag, a bus tour of this nature is just what the doctor ordered. It is a non-strenuous way to see the city's main landmarks while simultaneously receiving a fun and informative lesson on the city's history. In regards to the night aspect of the tour, it really does add another dimension. So even if you took a bus tour during the day, this tour may still be worth considering. Seeing the London Eye and Big Ben illuminated in the night sky is truly spectacular. I am actually even considering taking this tour again during my time here in London! I feel as though I still have much to learn from the guide and certainly would not be opposed to kicking back, taking in the city lights, and enjoying some nice fresh air in the open top double decker!
London by night is beautiful. Everything all lit up as u drive past. The host of the bus was fantastic and knew lots of small details you wouldn’t get on any other tour. Done all the major attractions on route. If it’s been a beautiful day it’s lovely to just sit and relax and get that London breeze on the top deck. This is my second time of doing this tour and I would do it again and again.
It was good and informative. I would do this the night before a full day so you can go to the places during the day. The bus windows were pretty dirty so it was hard to get good pictures from inside the bus at night. I would suggest going during the day or sitting outside if it is not too cold.
We had a night tour with our guide Matt and Amanda. Matt was absolutely lovely and very friendly and thoroughly narrated sights we visited. My children enjoyed it too. Luckily for us we were the only ones on the bus and had the bus to ourselves so it was kind of like a private tour!
The views were so much prettier at night time and the breeze was excellent in the middle of summer. Only thing I’d criticise is the tour guide kept speaking french which was cute but I didn’t understand a thing which was frustrating as I missed some pretty views but that’s okay.
