The trip there was very smooth, stopping at a few cultural places on the way. One was a traditional cheese maker where we were able to sample cheese with cranberry jam, cooked on an open fire, giving it a very smoky taste. Accompanied with shots of raspberry and lemon vodka, it was divine. We bought some for home at the shop on site. We were blessed with very good weather, the views were spectacular from the top of the mountain, the town is very quaint with a fair bit to explore and see. The driver was friendly and told us about the history of the places we stopped and of the town itself.

We really enjoyed the day trip to Zakopane. It was different and broke up busy sight seeing in the city. The stop in the shepherds hut is interesting and the views from the top of Zakopane are great. We really enjoyed the thermal baths- if only there were places like that in the uk! Was lovely relaxing in the outside swimming areas where there is also a bar in the water. Worth whole day out and we really enjoyed it and it was really well organised

Great day out would recommend to anybody visiting Poland. The views from the mountains were beautiful, the cheese tasting was lovely, the market stalls were nice and sellers were not pushy! lots of shopping, great insight to the wooden houses and how polish residents live. A costly trip but justified with transport from hotel included and a great driver who is so happy to answer questions about the culture and history of Poland.
